"UTICA, OH — A St. Louisville woman is dead, and a Frazeysburg man is in critical condition Saturday after a shooting Friday night in southeast Knox County.
"Lilly Dawn Pressley-Claggett, 35, was found fatally shot around 10:30 p.m. Friday at the scene of car crash on Ohio 586 south of Purity Road, according to a news release from the Ohio Highway Patrol.
"Her passenger, Jesse Bernard Collins, 30, of Frazeysburg, is in critical condition at Ohio State University Medical Center.
"An investigation revealed Pressley-Claggett was driving a vehicle north on Ohio 586 when it went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
"Crews responding to the crash found both Pressley-Claggett and Collins had been shot.
"Pressley-Claggett was dead at the scene, and Collins was flown to OSU, according to the release.
"The incident appears to have stemmed from a domestic dispute. A weapon was recovered at the scene, according to the release.
"It is unknown if the shooting occurred before or after the crash.
"The patrol, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Licking County Sheriff’s Office and the State Fire Marshall’s Office still are investigating the shooting."From the

"CARROLLTON, TX — A Carrollton man is dead and his wife has serious injuries after a double shooting at their home, according to police.
"47-year-old Terri Mohr called 911 shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday night to report a domestic disturbance with her husband, 43-year-old Glenn Mohr, according to Carrollton police public information officer Jon Stovall.
"When officers arrived at their home in the 2000 block of Clermont Court, they found Glenn Mohr dead of a gunshot wound, and Terri Mohr injured, but alive.
"She was rushed to a nearby hospital by the Carrollton Fire Department.
"So far, police believe that Glenn shot his wife first, then turned the gun on himself.

"LOS ANGELES, CA — A missing California man considered a person of interest in the slaying of his wife has committed suicide in Las Vegas, authorities said Friday.
"The body of 59-year-old Dusan Klein of Santa Clarita was discovered by hikers Thursday on the Nevada city's outskirts, Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy Mark Pope said.
"Pope said in a news release that the cause of death has been ruled a suicide, but he did not provide details.
"He said Nevada's Clark County Coroner's Office identified Klein's remains using dental records. The coroner's office said early Friday that no officials were immediately available for comment.
"Klein, a one-time travel agent, insurance salesman and trucking dispatcher, had been described as a person of interest in the death of his wife.
"He had not been seen since the body of Renata Klein was found in Angeles National Forest on June 15. An autopsy revealed she was murdered but authorities have not released a cause of death.
"Klein's 1999 gold Jeep Cherokee was found abandoned Sunday in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
"The couple, who have been married about 30 years, are both natives of the Czech Republic.

"BRISTOL, GA — Appling County Sheriff's deputies are investigating what they believe is a murder/suicide.
"Deputies say shortly after noon Thursday, they received a call from an employer asking them to check on a person at a home on 2148 Oliff Thornton Road in Southeast Appling County. Co-workers told deputies it was unusual for this employee to not show up to work.
"When deputies arrived at the scene, the back door of the residence was open and inside two bodies were found.
"The Georgia Bureau of Investigations was called to the scene.
"The Appling County Coroner pronounced both subjects dead on scene. The deceased have been identified as Calvin Willis Wright, age 60 and Maxine Wright, age 56.
"Preliminary investigations incidicate that Mr. Wright shot Mrs. Wright and then turned the gun on himself."From

"ORLANDO, FL — A man and women were found dead at The Palms Club Apartments on Thursday, according to the Orlando Police Department.
"Orlando police responded to The Palms Club Apartments on Thursday at 12:15pm in reference to shots being fired. Once the units arrived at the scene, they said they found one black male, 28-year-old Samuel Joseph and one black female, 28-year-old Carry Dorcelus dead at the apartments.
"The investigation is a murder-suicide and a weapon has been recovered at the scene.
"There were two small children inside and they were not harmed. They are now in the custody of their grandparents.
