Colorado Couple Found Dead In Apartment Building

"THORNTON, CO — Police in Thornton are investigating the deaths of a man and woman who were found shot to death inside an apartment Monday evening.

"Officers were dispatched to Building 4 at the Hawthorne Apartments, located at 11801 York Street, at about 11:30 p.m. They found an adult male and an adult female dead inside a unit with gunshot wounds to the head, Thornton Police said.

"A single handgun was recovered at the scene, raising the possibility of a murder-suicide.

"The names of the deceased individuals were not released."
