Eight Witness Murder/Suicide

"ADAMS COUNTY, CO — A husband allegedly walked into a bedroom and shot his wife, killing her. He then went outside to a nearby shed and killed himself, according to deputies.

"Adams County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sergeant Terrance O'Neill confirmed to [reporters] this was a murder/suicide.

"The 911 call came in around 3:45 a.m. at 3310 West 66th Ave. in Adams County. O'Neal says eight people witnessed the murder and suicide. He says those witnesses range in age from 3 to 24 years old.

"O'Neill says it sounds like the majority of the witnesses are children of the suspect and victim."
