Couple Found Dead In Camper

"Athens, TX - An estranged husband and wife were found shot to death Sunday in an apparent murder-suicide, Henderson County Sheriff Ray Nutt said.

"Sheriff’s office reports identified the deceased as 50-year-old Marc McRae and his estranged wife, Lori McRae, 46.

"HCSO dispatch received a call at 8 a.m. Sunday reporting the deaths. James McRae, Marc’s father, told authorities that he discovered the bodies in a camper parked in a wooded area on property near County Road 4712, between Athens and LaRue.

"HCSO Investigator Wick Gabbard said Marc McRae had been living alone in the camper during the couples’ estrangement. Lori reportedly visited on occasion and had gone to the property some time Saturday.

"`The last information we have is they both spoke to sometime on their cell phones after 5 p.m.,` Gabbard said.

"Evidence at the camper indicated that Marc McRae shot his estranged wife with a .22-caliber rifle then turned the weapon on himself, committing suicide. Gabbard said there was no sign of a struggle in the camper and no suicide note."

Gun Jams, Nobody Dies, Two Men Jailed

"Duncannon, PA - A pair of Duncannon brothers are in Perry County Prison following their arrest Sunday in connection with what police say was a planned murder-suicide.

"According to state police, Charles E. Holley, 45, and Luther K. Holley, 47, went early Saturday morning to the Paradise Trailer Park in Wheatfield Township [video] intent on killing a man there. Police said the plan, conceived by Luther Holley, was for Charles Holley to shoot the man, then kill himself.

"Police said Charles Holley, who the two men and two women at the residence said was intoxicated, held a loaded .22 caliber handgun close to the body of the intended victim and pulled the trigger several times, but the gun did not fire. Charles Holley then pointed the gun at the head of a second man at the residence and threatened to kill him, too, before the victims convinced him to give up the gun, police said.

"After Charles Holley gave up the gun, the victims learned it didn't fire because the clip had been placed into the gun backward, police said. The victims later received multiple phone calls threatening violence if the gun were not returned, police said. Police recovered the weapon at a residence in Halifax, Dauphin County.

"Luther Holley was apprehended Sunday in Reed Township after police served him with a warrant. Charles Holley turned himself in to state police at Newport minutes after his brother was taken into custody, police said.

"Charles Holley is charged with criminal attempt homicide, four counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, two counts each of harassment and criminal conspiracy homicide, possessing instruments of crime and prohibited offensive weapon.

"Luther Holley is charged with criminal solicitation for homicide, conspiracy homicide, terroristic threats, three counts of harassment and criminal solicitation to encourage suicide.

"Both remain in Perry County Prison this morning in lieu of $100,000 bail, a prison spokeswoman said."

"Adelaide, AU - A MAN called U.S. police and confessed to killing his wife in a suspected murder suicide at Ingle Farm.

"Elizabeth Police forced entry into the Derrilin Rd house about 2.30pm after being alerted to the call from New South Wales Crime Stoppers.

"Chief Inspector Peter Duance confirmed two adults in their 30s were dead inside the house.

"News of the suspected murder suicide shocked friends of the couple.

"It's believed they have a daughter, 14 and a son, 10. Police collected the children from school and took them to counsellors.

"A friend outside the home said the couple, who had immigrated from south India, had `a good, strong relationship`.

"`When you are living away from your country it's important to have a strong relationship,` Arun said.

"He was alerted to the tragedy by friends, who called to tell him something had gone wrong at the house.

"Arun said the woman had been in Australia for at least two years, and rented the Ingle Farm house for one. She studied nursing before finding work as a registered nurse at an Ingle Farm aged care home.

"Her husband and two children joined her about five months ago."

Two Teens Dead In Alaska

"ANCHORAGE, AK — North Slope Borough police say a man killed his teenage girlfriend before turning the gun on himself.

"Lt. Jeffrey Brown says 19-year-old Fredrick Igtanloc confronted his 16-year-old girlfriend as she walked along a Barrow street with two other people early Saturday. He says Igtanloc shot her in the head and chest with a 9 mm pistol before shooting himself.

"Both teens were taken to the Barrow hospital, where Igtanloc died. The girl was transported to an Anchorage hospital where she died Sunday. The girl is not being named pending an autopsy.

"An autopsy also will be performed on Igtanloc's body.

"Police suspect alcohol was involved. Brown says the two witnesses were intoxicated at the time of the shooting and have not been cooperative."

Three Dead In Kansas

"Canton, KS - A pending divorce turned deadly Sunday night, as McPherson County authorities say a man shot and killed his estranged wife and a friend before turning the gun on himself.

"McPherson County Sheriff Larry Powell said today that Becky R. Huff, 33, and Brian Huff, 32, hadn't finalized their divorce when they were found dead at a home near Canton in an apparent murder-suicide.

"Also dead is Mark Luttig, 47, a friend of Becky Huff's.

"Powell said Becky Huff's two children, ages 13 and 6, witnessed the killings. They were not injured.

"Authorities received a call from the house at 2653 Frontier Road just after 10 p.m. Sunday, Powell said.

"The bodies of Becky Huff and Luttig were found inside, Powell said.

"Authorities found Brian Huff outside his vehicle west of the residence, with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound."
