"Laguna Woods, CA - An elderly couple were found dead by a caretaker inside a Laguna Woods Village apartment this morning, the result of what investigators believe was a murder-suicide."The husband and wife were found with apparent gunshot wounds by sheriff's deputies at about 8:30 a.m. today, said Lt. Hal Brotheim of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Deputies were called to the second-floor apartment in the 5500 block of Paseo de Lago East when a caretaker found the door locked and saw the two through a window.
"Several patrol cars surrounded the apartment building this morning as authorities investigated the scene."
