Police Won't Elaborate On "Isolated Incident" That Killed 4

"CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — Albemarle County police have identified the four people killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Stony Point even as they continue to investigate the crime scene for more information.

"Police identified the dead as Noah Philip Romando, 19; Lily Katherine Romando, a juvenile with no age given; Andrew Ross Romando, a juvenile with no age given; and Elizabeth Walton, 49.

"According to Facebook pages, and the C-ville Weekly, where Walton worked, Walton was the mother of the three other deceased.

"Police have not discussed a possible motive, but indicated that the four may have been shot to death as they said a firearm was involved. They would not elaborate.

"Police said they were called to the Stony Point home in the 3800 block of Stony Point Road at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday only to find three of the victims dead at the scene, said Sgt. Darrell Byers of the county police. Another person died after being taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center, he said.

"Forensic investigators are continuing to process the scene for evidence, Byers said. He said the deaths are apparently an isolated incident."
