Blood In The Doorway Tips Off Police

"SAN BERNADINO, CA — Blood seen coming from a doorway at a home in San Bernardino led police to two dead bodies Tuesday.

"Officers were called to a home in the 1100 block of North Hancock Street about 12:30 p.m., San Bernardino Police Department Lt. Rich Lawhead said.

"An officer forced entry into a locked bedroom and found the bodies of two men suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a news release from police.

"A handgun was located near one of the men.

"One of the men was identified as 49-year-old landlord, Ephraim Lincoln, of Fontana, police said.

"The second man, Lincoln’s tenant, remained unidentified. He was described only as a 38-year-old resident of San Bernardino.

"Police believed the incident was a murder/suicide in which Lincoln killed his tenant before shooting himself, the release stated."
