Roommate Finds Bodies In Apartment

"COLUMBIA, SC — A University of South Carolina student was shot and killed during an apparent murder/suicide at a Richland County apartment complex.

"Richland County Coroner Gary Watts identified the people who died as 20-year-old Diamoney A. Greene and 21-year-old Brandon D. Early.

"Lt. Curtis Wilson with the Richland County Sheriff's Department says their bodies were discovered Tuesday night inside a unit at the Copper Beech Apartments just off Bluff Road. A roommate of one of the victims came home around 7 p.m. and couldn't get inside. That person then looked through a window and saw the bodies.

"Watts says it appears Early shot and killed Greene, then turned the gun on himself.

"Greene was a sophomore at USC, and was a criminal justice major. She'd transferred from South Carolina State University, where she was a cheerleader."
