Elderly Relatives Found Shot Dead
"BALTIMORE, MD — Two elderly relatives who both battled health problems were found dead in an East Baltimore home Saturday in what Baltimore City police believe was a murder/suicide, according to a release from the department.
"Police did not identify the man and woman found in the 300 block of Folcroft St., where officers responded to a call of a suicide attempt around 11 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a woman shot in the head and a man with an apparent self-inflicted gun shout wound to the head.
"A preliminary investigation found that the two were relatives between the ages of 75 to 85, who police said were both `suffering from a host of long-term medical conditions.`
"Officials said they did not believe anybody else was involved in the killings."
