One Dead After Domestic Violence Incident

"LAREDO, TX — A man with a history of domestic violence shot his wife Thursday before turning the gun on himself, according to Laredo police.

"LPD responded to a 911 call early Thursday in the 2800 block of Guadalupe Street.

"At the scene, police found a man’s body and a woman with a gunshot wound to her shoulder.

"They were later identified as Ernesto Magallanes, 23, and Jennifer Renne Molina, 22.

"`At this point, it looks like an (attempted) murder/suicide,` said Investigator Joe Baeza, LPD spokesman."
