That is why police told the media Thursday they believed the pair were related. Moore said the two women have been acquainted since the age of 14 and he cannot yet speculate on the non-family relationship between the two.

"Investigators believe the man killed the woman, then drove to the police station and shot himself.

"`Sad part about this is we have a 16-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy that belong to the couple that we are now with at the school, principal, counselors and Eatonville police,` Troyer said.

"Investigators seized a number of guns from inside the home and questioned neighbors about the couple. Witnesses say they saw the woman earlier in the day, but no one at the mobile home park heard gunfire, and no one is aware of any problems brewing between the couple.

"`Most of the neighbors and people say that these people were not trouble, so what led up to this is yet to be determined,` Troyer said.

"Investigators say they are not aware of any prior calls to this residence. A family friend told [reporters] both the man and his wife had recently lost their jobs, but it's unclear if financial pressures played any role in this tragic crime."

Love Triangle Ended By Lady Shooter

"MURPHY, TX — A woman killed two people, including her former boyfriend, at his home in Murphy before fatally shooting herself outside a Dallas home, authorities say.

"Michelle Boyer, 45, was linked to the slayings after she was found dead Saturday afternoon in a car in the 100 block of Leda Drive, northeast of White Rock Lake.

"Police said they found a handgun similar to the weapon that is believed to have killed Jonathan Masin, 40, and Amy Picchiotti, 38, in Murphy.

"They also found a note near Boyer’s body that included information about the shootings. Details of the note were not released, but a written statement from the city of Murphy said her breakup with Masin `led to this murder/suicide.`

"Masin’s and Picchiotti’s bodies were found about 8:30 a.m. in separate rooms in his home on 131 Sherwood Drive after a concerned relative contacted police. Neighbors said they had heard what might have been gunshots about 6:30 a.m.

"According to public records, Boyer had once lived at Masin’s home in Murphy. Picchiotti lived in Dallas, less than three miles from where Boyer’s body was found.

"Boyer and Masin both apparently had worked at Texas Instruments.

"The resident of the Dallas home where Boyer’s body was found declined to comment, saying he wanted to give her family a chance to comment.

"A neighbor said he recognized Boyer, as her body was being removed from her vehicle, which was also familiar to him.

"`It’s just a sad thing, all the way around,` said Tim Powell."

Man Shoots Family, Burns Rented Mansion With Fireworks

"TAMPA, FL — A business executive, his wife and two teenage children found dead in a suspected murder/suicide had all been shot with the father's gun before the million-dollar Florida mansion they were renting burned down, it was revealed today.

"Autopsies were still being completed to determine exactly how the victims died.

"Authorities recovered a gun at the home registered to 51-year-old Darrin Campbell and he was caught on a store camera buying an `exceedingly large amount` of fireworks days before the suspected arson fire, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Col. Donna Lusczynski said.

"The firecrackers reportedly surrounded the bodies and apparently started the fire that engulfed the two-story, five bedroom home the family was leasing from tennis pro James Blake.

"Mr Campbell was found dead in the burnt out $1.5 million home alongside his wife, Kimberly.

"His two teenage children, Colin, 19, and Megan, 16, were found in their respective bedrooms—with police saying two of the victims had suffered `upper body trauma.`

"A surveillance video was released late Thursday showing Darrin Campbell dressed in a dark-grey T-shirt and shorts placing stacks of fireworks into a shopping cart at Phantom Fireworks.

"The nine-minute silent clip depicts the married father of two emptying his full cart at the cash register.

"At one point, Campbell is seen ducking back into an aisle to pick up more pyrotechnics before handing the cashier $650 in cash for his purchase.

"Store clerk Michael Muti who handled the transaction Sunday recalled Campbell as being `normal and chatty.`

"`He said he was shopping early for fireworks for the Fourth of July,` Muti said."
