Relatives Find Bodies In Home

"TUCSON, AZ — The Tucson Police Department is investigating a murder/suicide on Tucson's South Side.

"According to TPD Sergeant Chris Widmer, police were called to a home in the 5900 block of South Randall Boulevard around 1 a.m. Saturday, after family members found two bodies inside the residence.

"Officers located a 35-year-old female and a 34-year-old male with obvious signs of trauma.

"Detectives learned the male and female had a domestic relationship and the female was visiting the home.

"Widmer says detectives were unable to determine the cause of the death for the female, but believe she may have been strangled.

"The male was found with gunshot trauma and a handgun near his body.

"According to Widmer, detectives believe the male murdered the female and then killed himself."
