Family Members Find Bodies Of Couple

"KENTWOOD, LA — Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards says a Kentwood man shot his wife in an apparent murder/suicide Tuesday.

"Family members found the bodies of 30-year-old Jonathan Williams and 26-year-old Mallory Ricks Williams at a residence on Pittman Road in Kentwood.

"Detectives believe Jonathan Williams shot his wife then shot and killed himself.

"Investigators are still waiting for the final report from the coroner's office but are investigating the incident as a murder/suicide."
