Pair Found Dead On Valentines Day

"SANJOSE, CA — A man and a woman were both shot and killed in East San Jose yesterday afternoon, in an apparent murder/suicide.

"Police Sgt. Jason Dwyer [said] the pair were found in an upstairs bedroom of an East San Jose home on the 1800 block of Bermuda Avenue, near Ocala Avenue.

"Dwyer says police believe the pair were romantically involved, and that the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself.

"The man and woman were found by another man living in the home, who reported the crime to police.

"The home is located across from William C. Overfelt High School, but Dwyer says there was no disruption at the school from the incident, as it was very self-contained and police were on scene quickly.

"The investigation is ongoing."
