Suspected Killer Of Two Found Dead

"LEAKEY, TX — A man suspected in the killings of two adults and the wounding of a juvenile apparently shot himself in Real County, officials said.

"The body of Robert Bryan Jones, 52, was found on Sunday morning on his property on Rim Rock Road, about nine miles west of Leakey and 120 miles northwest of San Antonio, according to the Real County Sheriff's Office.

"`It appears he was responsible for the shooting death of two adults and wounding of a juvenile on Saturday, near the location where Jones' body was found,` a sheriff's office statement said.

"None of the victims' names or ages were released and the statement did not say if authorities knew of any relationship between them and Jones.

"Reached at home Sunday evening, Real County Sheriff James Brice had no further comment. Justice of the Peace Christene Lacey would say only that an investigation is ongoing."
