Woman Survives Attempted Murder/Suicide

"HIALEAH, FL — A Hialeah woman is in stable condition after police said her ex-boyfriend shot her, and then shot himself.

"Police said the victim, Yovana Rodriguez, had recently broken up with Angel Guardi Gonzalez.

"Gonzalez attacked her as she was leaving work, at West 29th Street and 5th Avenue. Hialeah police said he threw Rodriguez to the ground and shot at her several times, hitting her at least once in the upper torso.

"Police said Gonzalez then drove to another location, West 23rd Street and 4th Avenue, where he committed suicide."
