Elderly Couple Pronounced Dead At Scene

"HELENDALE, CA — A man and woman were found dead Sunday in what sheriff’s officials are calling a murder/suicide.

"San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies came to a home in the 27200 block of Silver Lakes Parkway in Helendale at 8:25 p.m. on a report of shots fired.

"They found Michael Cobbos, 76, and Colleen Williamson-Cobbos, 82, suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced them dead at the scene.

"Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the incident."
