Woman Survives Argument With Ex-Boyfriend

"BATON ROUGE, LA — Baton Rouge Police are investigating an attempted murder/suicide that happened just after 4 a.m. Friday morning.

"Police say they arrived at a house in the 4800 block of Doral Dr. and found a 31-year-old woman had been shot in the leg and 35-year-old Lamarcus Ray was dead from a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head.

"Reports say the woman was an old girlfriend of Ray's and he shot her and then shot himself after having an argument.

"The woman was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

"The incident is still under investigation."
