Few Details In Mother-Son Murder/Suicide

"SHAWNEE, OK - The bodies of an elderly mother and her son were found inside a Shawnee apartment Monday morning, and the case is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.

"Shawnee Police Lt. R.L. Gribble said officers responded to Legacy Park, 1701 Airport Road, about 10:08 a.m. on reports of a possible shooting.

"The bodies of the woman, 80, and her son were found; police weren’t releasing any names Monday as the investigation was ongoing, Gribble said."
