Never Argue With A Drunk
"MANATEE, FL - A domestic argument turned into attempted murder and suicide late Thursday night, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reported.
"A couple who lived together and have a child were arguing about 11:50 p.m. The woman was wanting the man to move out of the house in the 4100 block of 62nd Street West, Bradenton.
"The 49-year-old man, whose name was not released pending notification of next of kin, was drinking, and got his firearm and loaded it.
"The woman, 43, and her two children, ages 19 and 12, ran out of the house and across the street.
"The man chased them, caught up to them and shot the woman twice. The victim and the children ran eastbound from the residence and called 911.
"The man ran back towards the house.
"The victim was transported to Bayfront Hospital in critical but stable condition, according to the sheriff's report.
"Upon arrival, deputies were told that the suspect was in the residence. The house was surrounded. A short time later, law enforcement officers found the man dead in the residence with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head."
