"Wonderful Person" Is Victim Of Murder/Suicide

"GATES COUNTY, NC – Authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide.

"Friends say Delphine Parker and her husband Wayne were found dead inside their home on Mill Pond Road, near Eleanor's Crossing and the Coston light Friday evening.

"They say she worked as a custodian at Gatesville Elementary.

"`She was a wonderful person. Every time you saw her, she spoke to you. All the kids loved her,` said Becky Davis.

"A family member [said] they'd been having domestic problems.

"The Gates County Sheriff's Office is waiting on results of an autopsy before revealing how the couple died."
