Bodies Found After Police Standoff

"ANNISTON, AL — Authorities have identified two people found dead following a standoff in Saks Sunday.

"Anniston police Sgt. Chris Sparks said the bodies of Darren Wilson, 52, and Dorris Wilson, 50, were found in their Saks home on Asbury Avenue last night after a six-hour standoff with police.

"Officers arrived on a domestic call around noon following a suspected stabbing. Dorris Wilson's body had stab wounds, Sparks said. There has been no cause of death announced for Darren Wilson.

"The couple's bodies have been sent off for autopsies, Sparks said.

"Police had no voice contact with either person once they arrived on the scene, Sparks said. Police made several attempts to negotiate with no answer. Authorities entered the house after firing tear gas into it and a robotic camera device entered, discovering the bodies."
