Police Find No Sign Of Forced Entry

"HOUSTON, TX — Police have identified a man and a woman who were found late Sunday night shot to death in what officials said was an apparent murder-suicide inside a home in east Houston.

"The bodies of 34-year-old Lashandra Washington and 33-year-old Sharman Ford were discovered about 11 p.m. at the home in the 1000 block of Defender near Calloway, according to the Houston Police Department.

"Police said the victims' relatives found the two fatally shot when they went inside the house. The bodies were in a bedroom.

"It appeared Ford shot Washington and then turned the gun on himself, police said. There were no signs of forced entry at the home. Police did not release other details about the case.

"Investigators were trying to determine what led to the shooting."
