Dead Men Found In Home

"GREENSBORO, NC — Two men found dead in a Greensboro home Saturday died from gunshot wounds that were likely the result of a murder-suicide, police said Tuesday.

"Police were called to Michael Franklin Stutts’ home at 105 W. Cornwallis Drive at 11:30 a.m. when he didn’t show up for work that morning.

"Officers found the bodies of Stutts, 60, and Corry Matthew Munson, 40.

"Police said Stutts shot and killed Munson with a handgun before shooting and killing himself.

"Police found the pair on the floor of the house.

"The men had been dead less than 24 hours, based on when Stutts was last seen alive, police spokeswoman Susan Danielsen said.

"Police described the shooting as domestic-related but didn’t elaborate."
