Neighbors Shocked

"ORANGE COUNTY, FL - A man and woman were found dead inside an Orange County home on Fish Court in the Candlewick subdivision. Investigators are calling the incident a murder-suicide.

"Neighbors [said] the husband shot his wife and then turned the gun on himself. Family members live next door and some of them were home when the shooting happened.

"Orlando police have confirmed that the bodies found were of 42-year-old Ignacio Hernandez and his wife 41-year-old Elba Ortiz.

"Neighbors said Hernandez had lost his job a while back and Ortiz just lost her job as well. They believe he couldn't see a way out of tough times that the family faced. Ortiz had four children, three who were living at home. Hernandez had three children of his own, but they didn't live with the couple.

"Neighbors said they were shocked.

"`I never saw this coming at all, never…didn't expect it. He was a very nice guy,` neighbor Yvonne Femiano said.

"Relatives said Hernandez started a new job, but possibly got laid off Friday before the shooting."
