Two Injured In Attempted Murder/Suicide

"KENT, WA - The manager of a Kent business shot an employee and then turned the gun on himself Monday afternoon, police [said].

"The manager of Kent Body and Paint got into a dispute with the company's bookkeeper, police said, and shot the bookkeeper in the stomach and wrist.

"The manager then went out in front of other employees and shot himself in the mouth, police said.

"Both the manager and the bookkeeper have been taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

"Police said the manager suffered life-threatening injuries. Police described injuries to the bookkeeper as `serious.`

"Police are investigating at the scene.

"Kent Body and Paint, in the 800 block of Fifth Avenue South, is a firm that paints semitrailers."
