Two Dead In Georgia

"ATHENS, GA - The man who Athens police said shot and killed a woman and sparked an alert at the University of Georgia was found dead Thursday afternoon.

"Athens-Clarke County police said the man, who was identified as Michael Wise, 25, of Athens, shot and killed a woman at a shopping center off South Milledge Avenue. The woman was identified as Kendra Borders, 20, of Athens.

"Police said Wise was found dead in Oglethorpe County. Investigators said it appeared Wise killed himself.

"Police searched for Wise near the University of Georgia golf course, which was evacuated. The university alerted students as a precaution."
