"Nice People" Found Dead

"LEVITTOWN, PA - Two bodies were found in a Bristol Township home Tuesday night, but police released no details.

"A family member found the bodies of a man and woman inside a home on the 100 block of Holly Drive. The Bucks County Coroner's Office removed the couple's bodies and planned to conduct autopsies.

"A neighbor said they were both nice people who were in the process of divorcing. County records show the home is owned by Ethelyn Marie Vender, who filed for divorce from Russell Vender on Oct. 13.

"The neighbor said the couple's children are adults.

"Police guarded the front door of the residence late Tuesday night as detectives collected evidence from inside. Halloween decorations remained in the darkened windows and few lights were on inside the home when police first arrived.

"One neighbor declined to comment but exclaimed on seeing the second body being taken out of the house, `They're both dead, I thought Russ just shot himself.`"
