"HUNTSVILLE, TX - Huntsville Police Detective Slavin Richards said two bodies were located Sunday morning in the Sam Houston National Forrest in what appears to be a murder-suicide.

"Slavin said HPD received a call Saturday morning from residents in the 2000 block of 19th Street after residents reported seeing a large pool of blood. Police determined 54-year-old Beverly Johnson and 54-year-old Kenneth Ray Johnson were missing and one or both were possibly injured. Police said Beverly's car was also missing.

"HPD said the pair was last seen around 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Beverly's apartment in the 2000 block of 20th Street. According to Huntsville Police, the couple was married but recently separated.

"Saturday, area law enforcement agencies were notified about the missing vehicle and couple.

"Sunday morning, deputies from the Walker County Sheriff's Office found the Johnsons and the vehicle, Richards said, in the Sam Houston National Forrest. Richards said he could not provide further information at this time."
