Murdering Mom Had "Known Psychiatric Problems"

"ST. LOUIS, MO - St. Louis police identify the north city woman believed to have killed her young daughter and then herself Sunday night as 27-year-old Tiffany Owens.

"Police say Owens fatally stabbed her 3-year-old daughter Taylor Johnson in the chest, then took her own life by shooting herself in the chest.

"The bodies were discovered by Taylor Johnson's father just after 8 pm Sunday at their home in the 4100 block of North Taylor.

"A police report says a note was recovered at the scene, and that Tiffany Owens had `known psychatric issues.`"
