Police Find Two Dead After "Despondent" 911 Call

"NORFOLK, VA - Police are investigating what they believe to be a murder-suicide that took place on the 300 block of Peace Haven Drive this morning.

"Police received a call around 10 a.m. this morning from an individual that sounded `despondent,` said Norfolk police spokesman Chris Amos. He asked police to respond to his residence.

"When police arrived, they made several attempts to contact the home's occupants without success. When they entered the home, they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman. The two appear to have been married, Amos said.

"Neither has been identified yet, he said."
