Argument At Party Leads To Botched Murder/Suicide

"LITTLE ROCK, AR — A Little Rock man is in the hospital after police say he stabbed his wife and then stabbed himself.

"Lt. Terry Hastings says around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Barbara and Danny Robinson got into an argument after leaving a party at Wright Avenue and Bishop streets. Police say he grabbed a knife and stabbed his wife. She later died at the hospital.

"Officers say Danny Robinson then drove to the 2400 block of Riverfront Drive where he stabbed himself. According to investigators, he told police he did it after feeling guilty about killing his wife.

"Robinson was taken to the hospital. Police are calling this a domestic violence situation. Robinson is facing murder charges if he survives."
