Kids OK After Deadly Daycare Incident
"JOHNSTOWN, PA — A man pulled out a pistol on a Johnstown mother who apparently had just dropped off her children at a day-care center and then turned the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide this morning.
"City police and Cambria County Coroner Dennis Kwiatkowski remained at the scene in Prospect at 11 a.m., gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
"Two bodies were under tarps, with the gun was clearly visible by the apparent shooter’s body 30 feet from the murder victim.
"Witnesses said they heard about four or five shots before a brief pause and a final shot.
"The call was dispatched at 9:45 a.m. to the location on Crouse Street.
"Identifications are not yet available."
