Estranged Husband Kills Wife, Self

"GRAPEVINE, TX — An argument between an estranged couple at a home in Grapevine late Saturday night ended in what police said appears to have been a murder/suicide.

"Police were called to the residence in the 3100 block of Creekview Drive just after 10 p.m.

"The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office identified the dead as 43-year-old Kelly Suckla and 44-year-old Kristi Suckla, both Euless residents.

"Kelly Suckla was pronounced dead in front of the home; Kristi Suckla died about 40 minues later at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine.

"`The male victim had what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head,` police spokesman Sgt. Robert Eberling said in a written statement.

"Eberling said witnesses told investigators that Kelly Suckla came to the Grapevine residence and began arguing with his estranged wife. Gunshots were heard, and the witnesses went outside to find that both had been shot."
