Man Finds Bodies Of Wife, Stranger
"MARIETTA, GA — A 26-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were found shot to death inside the woman’s Cobb County home Wednesday evening.
"And police have ruled it a murder/suicide, though they have yet to confirm the relationship between the two. Investigators said it was the woman’s husband who found the bodies and called 911.
"The call came in around 5:30 p.m. regarding the bodies found inside the home at 3760 Post Oak Tritt Road in Marietta, according to Cobb County police.
"When they arrived, they found the two bodies. Mrs. Sherrie Newton, 43, had been shot multiple times, police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said.
"Her alleged shooter, Mr. Bryan Bunch, of Marietta, was also found dead of what police said was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
"The husband told police he did not know the man believed to have killed his wife.
"It’s unclear how the 26-year-old got inside the home, but said he apparently knew Mrs. Newton. Police have not yet released a motive for the shootings."
