Shots Fired When Argument Heats Up

"SAN ANTONIO, TX — San Antonio police are investigating an attempted murder suicide on the city's west side in the 600 block of north San Dario.

"The shooting happened around 11:30p.m. in the 600 block of N. San Dario.

"Investigators said a man and woman, who were estranged, were arguing when the situation spiraled out of control and shots were fired.

"The man was found dead in the street and the woman was found with a gunshot wound to the torso.

"The woman was taking to University Hospital in critical condition and had to undergo surgery.

"The couple had five children together who were not present during the shooting.

"The case remains under investigation."
