One Dead, One Injured, One Flat Tire
"MIFFLIN, PA — One person is dead and another was wounded and taken to Milton S. Hershey Medical Center after a shooting Monday at 448 McKinley Road in Tuscarora Township, Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown and Juniata County District Attorney Cory Snook said.
"Police said a 39-year-old man drove to the residence to confront his 40-year-old estranged wife and her 51-year-old paramour, both of Mifflin, with a single-shot 12-gauge shotgun. The paramour and the father of the man's estranged wife, also of Mifflin, were sitting in a truck in the driveway at the residence when the 39-year-old shot one round into the front tire of the truck, police said.
"Police said the paramour ran from the vehicle to the residence and was followed by the 39-year-old. The 39-year-old then went to the front of the house and fired a round through the front door, striking the father of his estranged wife in the upper legs, police said.
"The 39-year-old then fatally shot himself in the head while in the driveway, police said.
"Police did not release the names of those involved, as family members had yet to be notified. Police also said the investigation remains active."
