Police Conclude Domestic Violence In Death Of Pair

"CANOGA PARK, CA — Police say they are investigating an apparent murder/suicide in Canoga Park this week as a `domestic violence murder.`

"Authorities were called to the 21900 block of Roscoe Boulevard about 1 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they discovered the bodies of a man and woman, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"The couple were apparently married and had a child, police said. The woman, referred to by police as a 30-year-old victim, sustained several fatal unspecified injuries, they said.

"The male, 40, `died of an apparent suicide,` according to the LAPD, which referred to him as the suspect.

"Detectives determined that their deaths were the result of domestic violence, police said."
