Newlyweds Found Dead

"AUGUSTA, GA — Two shooting victims have been identified in the murder/suicide in Richmond County, Augusta Coroner Mark Bowen.

"Andre Wingo, 46, was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and Treasey Wingo, 47, sustained multiple gunshot wounds on Sept. 9, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office said.

"The bodies of the couple, that was married for less than 20 days, were found in the master bedroom, the Sheriff's Office said.

"Deputies were called out to the 900 block of St. Andrews Drive around 5 p.m. for a suspicious situation call, the Sheriff's Office said. The investigation is ongoing, but investigators believe Andre shot his wife, Treasey, before turning the gun on himself.

"Both were sent to the GBI Atlanta Lab for an autopsy."
