"NORTH PORT, FL — A death investigation is underway at a North Port home, where two people were found dead Monday."Around 5 p.m. police responded to a home in the 1100 block of Amnesty Drive, one block north of East Price Boulevard, after receiving a call about a disturbance.
"When authorities arrived, they discovered the bodies of a 28-year-old woman and 49-year-old man inside the home. Police say both had sustained gunshot wounds.
"According to the North Port Police Department, the death appears to have been the result of a murder-suicide.
"The relationship of the victims is unknown at this time.
"Investigators said they are not currently searching for any suspects."
