Unknown Motive In Workplace Murder/Suicide
"MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide at a manufacturing plant on the city's northwest side Thursday evening.
"Police say a 23-year-old man shot his 58-year-old supervisor multiple times before turning the gun on himself.
"Police responded to Trans-Coil International -- a company that makes electronics, including those used in filters for industrial work or companies -- near N. 86th Street and W. Bradley Road around 6 p.m. Thursday and discovered those two men with gunshot wounds.
"The supervisor was taken to a local hospital but later died from his injuries.
"The shooting happened during the company's second shift and the company canceled their third shift.
"Trans-Coil International's president Steven Copp called this shooting a tragedy for both families and the company.
"Authorities are unclear on a motive as of late Thursday evening."
