Man And Woman Found Dead In Condo Complex
"LINCOLN, NH — A man and woman were found dead of an apparent murder/suicide Saturday in their home in Lincoln, officials said.
"The bodies were found during a welfare check at the Clearbrook Condo Complex on Easterly Road, police said.
"The Attorney General’s Office, state police and Lincoln police are investigating.
"`Not too much to say further at this point, pending the autopsies, pending the notification of the families involved, the investigation is ongoing,` Asst. Attorney General Geoffrey Ward said.
"A medical examiner will conduct autopsies to determine how the two died.
"The names of the man and woman were not released, though neighbors provided a first name for the man.
"`All we know is Doug was a nice neighbor, he was a nice guy, he always helped everyone out in this neighborhood and we have never seen any trouble out here in the past,` said neighbor Robert Paris.
"While the investigation continues, authorities have begun notifying families of the victims.
"The aunt of the female victim said that the two were not in a romantic relationship.
"She said her niece had rented a room from the male victim but had moved out last month and was living in Manchester."
