Bad Aim

"Montgomery, AL - A man is dead and a woman is injured after what police believe was an attempted murder-suicide.

"Police arrived at 3:34 a.m. Saturday to the 1800 block of Plum Street, where they found a 23-year-old woman shot in the mouth and a 26-year-old with an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, said Capt. Huey Thornton, police spokesman.

"Police said they believe the man shot the woman before shooting himself.

"The man was pronounced dead at 4 a.m. The woman has been released from the hospital, Thornton said.

"Police would not release names because they have not confirmed the circumstances of the case, Thornton said."
