SF Bay Area Couple Dead

"Concord, CA - A man and a woman in Concord are dead in what is being investigated as a murder-suicide, police said today.

"The names of the victims were not immediately released.

"The incident began at about 6 p.m. when Concord police received reports of a man threatening suicide at a home on the 2200 block of Acacia Drive.

"Officers arrived and found a 33-year-old man dead from a single gunshot wound. A 25-year-old woman was found gravely wounded, police said. She was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where she was pronounced dead."
