Two Dead In Orlando Hotel

"Orlando, FL - Two people were found dead inside of an Orlando hotel, the victims of what police believe was a murder-suicide.

Loyta Sloley, 34, and James Clayton, 46, were found shot to death inside of the Marriot Courtyard Orlando on Magnolia Avenue, just north of Colonial Drive, Tuesday morning, according to Orlando Police.

"Clayton is a career criminal and was convicted of murder in 1989, police said.

"Around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Lucerne Hospital to check on an employee who had called in sick to work. Sloley called her employer and told them she would not be at work, and told them her boyfriend, Clayton, was holding her against her will.

"Sloley told coworkers that her boyfriend was driving her around Orlando, but she didn't know where she was. She later told them she was no longer in her car, but still didn't know where she was at.

"Officers used her cell phone to track the couple to the hotel, where they had checked in to a room.

"Officers had to force their way inside of the hotel room where they found the two dead."
