3 Dead, 1 Injured After Shooting Rampage
"AMMAN, Jordan - A Jordanian pharmacist killed his wife and two young sons and seriously wounded his daughter in a shooting rampage at their home on Sunday before killing himself, police said.
"Hatem Khasawneh, 45, `killed himself after shooting dead his 35-year-old wife and two sons, who are under 10`, police spokesman Mohammed Khatib told AFP, adding that the 12-year-old daughter was in hospital in serious condition.
"`The shooting took place at the family home in Rabieh, western Amman,` he said.
"`The neighbours informed police after they heard several loud gunshots. An investigation is currently underway,` Khatib said.
"He gave no further details, and the reasons behind the crime were not immediately clear."
