Nightmare On Elm Street

"ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NY - A woman is expected to survive following a shooting in Roslyn Heights that left her mother, daughter and estranged husband dead in a possible murder suicide, Nassau County police said.

"Nassau County Police Sgt. Tony Repalone says the man and his mother-in-law were found dead from shotgun wounds inside a small white house on 66 Elm Street. His estranged wife and 17-year-old daughter were taken to a hospital where the teenager died.

"The gunman's estranged wife is listed in critical condition.

"Nassau County police Sgt. Richard Laursen said the husband came to the house earlier in the day.

"Following a dispute, he left and returned with a sports bag.

"Laursen says the bag was used to transport a shotgun."
