"CEDAR HILL, TX ― There is breaking news in Cedar Hill. Wednesday afternoon police were on the scene of an apparent murder-suicide on Sharon Drive. The house is in a neighborhood just west of Highway 67. "When officers arrived at the house, in the 1500 block of Sharon Drive, they discovered the body of a 38-year-old woman wrapped in bed sheets. Police believe the woman died from a gunshot wound.
"As officer continued to search the house they found the woman's 45-year-old husband sitting in his car in the garage. Investigators think the man committed suicide by shooting himself, after killing his wife.
"Friends of the couple found the pair after going to check on them Wednesday. Police believe the shooting occurred on Monday."
