Police Refuse To Identify Weapon
"NAPLES, FL - A man and woman are dead after an apparent murder-suicide at a Naples business early Tuesday morning.
"Around midnight, police responded to the Migun relaxation clinic at 2164 Tamiami Trail North in the Gateway Center after receiving a call from a concerned friend of one of the victims.
"SWAT teams surrounded the area and spotted 47-year-old Tracy Jenkins standing in the front of her husband's business.
"Police say Jenkins then ran to the back of the business.
"`When officers responded and were walking up to the business, they heard what sounded like two gun shots,` said Officer Mike Herman of the Naples Police Department.
"At about 1:30 a.m. SWAT members used devices to blast open the front and back windows.
"Once inside, police found Tracy's husband, 44-year-old Todd Jenkins, shot to death and Tracy critically injured from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, reports said.
"Tracy was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital but died from her injuries.
"`We're not identifying the specific model yet, but it was a small caliber handgun,` said Herman.
"Police say the deaths are a result of a murder-suicide."
