One Dead, One Hurt In Domestic Dispute

"BLOOMINGTON, CA - A man is dead and a woman is hospitalized in what investigators are describing as an attempted murder/suicide, the San Bernardino County Coroner's office is reporting on its Web site.

"San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responding to a 911 call on Wednesday night at 8:45 p.m. found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds in a residence on the 17800 block of Otilla Street.

"The 45-year-old man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of relatives, was dead at the scene. The woman, also 45, was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment, the Web site said.

"A preliminary investigation determined that the couple was involved in a domestic dispute and it appears that the husband shot his wife and then himself.

"The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Homicide detail is investigating."
